Muth Digital LLC ("Muth Digital," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through muthdigital.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name and phone number (both optional), the service you're interested in, how you heard about us (optional), and any project details you share. The free Google Maps check form collects your business name, town, and email address.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site. This may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and general location (city/region level), typically through cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes for our services
- To communicate with you about a project you've engaged us for
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- To measure which marketing efforts are working (e.g., which page or campaign led to a form submission)
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share contact-form submissions with third parties except as needed to operate the Site (for example, our email and hosting providers, and the service that sends us an instant notification when a form is submitted) or as required by law.
Cookies & Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings to block third-party cookies. Blocking cookies won't affect your ability to browse or submit a contact form.
When you first arrive, the Site notes where you came from (for example, a Google search, a link on another website, or a tagged link we shared) and the first page you visited. This is saved only in your own browser's local storage for up to 30 days and is sent to us only if you submit a form, so we know how you found us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Data Retention
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records, and delete them when they're no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default GA4 retention settings.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email us at jreeves@muthdigital.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
